His extensive frac sand and mining experience play a key role in IAC’s core business. Bob previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Preferred Sands for 5 years, Owned an engineering company and completed the retrofit of 2 frac sand plants and several other large mining capital projects for compass minerals. Has consulted on business optimization within multiple industries and is a seasoned executive with proven capabilities to deliver 25% to 100+% annual revenue growth within startup, midsize and $500 million plus per year companies. Bob has owned or started up 7 different companies and managed multi-site and multi-country operations. He loves the Frac Sand industry and throughout his career Bob has maintained a strong family focus, while also driving effective teamwork initiatives on the job throughout his over 20 years of senior executive experience.

As Managing Partner of the Petroleum Connection, Nick researches the latest trends and developments within the oil & gas industry to create superior niche conferences. He is an editor for the most widely read newsletter focused on the frac sand industry, The Frac Sand Weekly News Digest, which highlights the biggest news in the industry each week. Prior to his time in oil & gas, Nick worked in manufacturing both in operations and business analytics. Nick graduated from Texas A&M with a B.B.A in Supply-Chain Management.

For over 16 years, Ron has garnered extensive oil & gas experience in North America, and extended his knowledge of operations through travels to Asia, Russia, and the Middle East. Within Liberty, Ron’s focus includes new technology and innovation, service quality, efficiency, and optimization. Ron has also held previous roles at Sanjel Corporation, Zodiac Exploration, Pinnacle Technologies, and BJ Services, with a primary focus on hydraulic fracturing in unconventional reservoirs. Ron is a published SPE author and presenter. His dedication to the petroleum engineering community and interest in shared industry knowledge is evident in his numerous volunteer capacities, most recently as Co-Chair of IRP 24: Fracture Stimulation. Ron holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.

Ryan Hassler specializes in oilfield services research and market intelligence. Ryan joined the company in January of 2019 with a background in the Canadian oil and gas industry, holding various roles in operations and engineering for heavy oil and oil sands mining producers. He is currently the lead analyst covering the US L48 water management and proppant markets, focusing on produced water management, seismicity, and proppant supply, demand, and pricing. Ryan currently sits in Denver, Colorado and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
